The Compendium House Cut in Made to Measure form can be thought of as the younger brother of our bespoke cut, sharing the same spirit and silhouette, but interpreted with a more approachable framework.

Merging European influences from iconic roped shoulders to a draped silhouette, it blends structure with softness in a way that feels distinctive yet natural. compared to our bespoke version, the Made to Measure jacket features added front darts to create a gentle waist suppression, while the more rigid, British-inspired shoulders lend a quiet strength and presence.

The cut itself is built on refined templates, carefully balanced to suit most lean, average body types without sacrificing proportion. Wide lapels sit in harmony with the frame, while broad shoulders taper to a closer waist and hips, delivering definition without stiffness.

Soft construction keeps the jacket comfortable and easy to move in, while the trousers finish the look with a clean drape. The result is a cut that delivers nonchalant elegance-sharper and more structured than casual tailoring, yet less demanding than bespoke, and always designed to move with you.

THE COMPENDIUM
MADE TO MEASURE PROCESS

1. We begin with a conversation, exploring your ideas for the garment and the seasons or occasions you'd like it to serve. From there, we'll guide you through a curated selection of fabrics and arrive at a choice together.

2. Wearing the MTM suit

At this stage, we will identify your size from our made-to-measure range. You’ll try on the jacket and trousers to determine your preferred fit, whether a touch roomier or slightly slimmer. Our tailor will guide you on what works best for your body.

Alterations will be noted, focusing on sleeve length, cuff length, jacket balance, and overall length. With the fabric pinned in place, you’ll already get a clear impression of how your finished suit will look and feel.

3. Production

With your sizing and details confirmed, we'll move your order into production. Your fabric will be cut according to paper patterns by our head tailor, after which our workshop will begin crafting your suit.
Once completed, we'll arrange a pickup appointment for you. For our international clients, we also offer secure delivery directly to your doorstep.

*The overall duration of the MTM experience goes from 3-6 months. Depending on where the customer is.
