These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Compendium Garments website and your purchase of products and services from The Compendium Garments PLT (“Compendium”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Our Products and Services
Compendium offers ready-to-wear, made-to-order, made-to-measure, bespoke, tailoring and other menswear-related products and services.
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, colours and prices displayed on our website are accurate. However, minor variations may occur, particularly with natural fabrics and handmade garments.
2. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products or services.
An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully received and we have confirmed the order.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will provide an appropriate refund.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in MYR/USD, unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be made using the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments made by card or other electronic payment methods may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Compendium does not retain your full card details.
For international orders, the customer may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
4. Made-to-Measure, Made-to-Order and Custom Garments
Made-to-measure, Made-to-Order and custom garments are produced specifically according to the customer's measurements, specifications and selections.
Before production begins, the customer is responsible for confirming the relevant measurements, fabric, design and other specifications communicated to us.
Once production has commenced, changes, cancellations or refunds may not be possible except where required by applicable law or where otherwise agreed by Compendium.
Because our garments are handmade and use natural fabrics, minor variations in colour, texture, pattern placement and construction may occur and are not necessarily considered defects.
Where a garment has been made incorrectly due to an error on our part, we will work with the customer to determine an appropriate remedy, which may include alteration, repair, remake or refund where appropriate.
5. Alterations
Where alterations are required, customers may be asked to return or present the garment to Compendium for assessment.
Alterations resulting from an incorrect measurement supplied or approved by the customer may be chargeable.
Where an alteration is required due to an error made by Compendium, we will assess and remedy the issue appropriately.
6. Intellectual Property
All content appearing on this website, including photographs, graphics, text, logos, designs and other materials, belongs to Compendium or its respective licensors and may not be reproduced or used without our prior written permission.
7. Website Use
You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, interfere with its operation, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
8. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party services for payment processing, delivery, analytics, communications or other functions.
Your use of such services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Compendium will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs delays, natural disasters, strikes, technical failures or other events beyond our control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on this website and will apply to future use of the website and orders placed after the updated terms take effect.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdiction of Malaysia.
